Challenge
Abigail Neal is a point guard in the Class of 2029 at Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona, pursuing Division I basketball. College coaches evaluating hundreds of recruits need quick, professional access to highlights, stats, and character. Abigail's information was scattered across social media profiles with no central destination a coach could visit and evaluate in five minutes.
Strategy
We built a personal recruiting portfolio designed for the coach's workflow. A hero section opens with a direct highlights CTA. Below that: a skills showcase highlighting six core competencies, a 16-image action gallery, and an off-court character section that shows who Abigail is beyond the stat sheet. The site is built with Nuxt 3 using a dark navy and gold design system with smooth scroll-triggered animations. The backend runs NestJS on AWS Lambda for profile data management. The family owns and controls the site, independent of any recruiting service.
Tech Stack
Outcome
Abigail Neal now has a single destination where college coaches can watch highlights, evaluate competencies, browse action photography, and assess character. The site is an asset her family controls, built to grow with updated stats and new highlights as she progresses through high school.
